I reckon about 24,000..as a lot of people will have bought Sunderland tickets as part of the 'multi-ticket' scheme..but we also have Arsenal on saturday..and we're going to have a bit of sleet/rain Wednesday too...so wrap up warm and bring a waterproof jacket..if you sit on the first 15 rows of The Boothen.. ;D

just flicked through a programe from last season,around this time last year we had 11,000 at home to qpr and 12,000 against sheff utd, piss poor!

sounds sad, but went on scfcdirect looked through all available blocks for tickets, were only 65approx seats available.

scs, SCFC direct never shows all the available unsold seats. Presumably they are released to SCFC direct a few at a time with the remainder staying on the main ticket office system.

biggest night crowd was liverpool in league cup 2000 27000 . league crowd wud be the 23000 against ipswich a few yrs ago . 3 2 we won in last minute !
