Anyone tried this yet?. I think its bloody brilliant. First club that come in for me was Stoke and i havnt looked back. Into my 3rd season and have had offers from everton, man city and Newcastle to name a few but have stayed loyal to the cause and am helping City progress in the Prem.
Anyone that wants to add me on xbox live my gamer profile is stacksy85

Got signed by Aston Villa and broke into their first team after a few of those annoying training matches. Been a regular ever since and scored the goal that sent the side into the last eight of the Champions League

You create a player, and hopefully get signed by a team and break into their first team. From there you try and establish yourself in the team and become the club captain. Then hopefully get called up to your national side and become captian and then attempt to become a legend That's all it is really

Not in PES. To be honest, it isn't indepth at all. Not sure what it's like on Fifa but I'm sure someone on here will enlighten you on the Fifa side of it

It's just Fifa 09's Be A Pro but the PES version of it you mean its winning elevens be a legend, which fifa copied, and has now been put into the european version of the game im doing alright, did the training match, got signed by portsmouth, broke into their starting 11, got abit annoyed at the style of play, so went to everton, still in my first season like, stats seem to be going up slowly, is there any way of getting them up quicker?

Love the idea, hate the execution
The gameplay is completely different from standard pro evo, don't know why they did that, ruined it for me

I need some help with this, I started out shit in my first game but then got signed for Wigan straight after, now ive played 4 training matches and scored two goal and got an assist (Attacking Midfielder) overall but still no luck with the squad.
-Do you have to play to your role? -Does it matter if you drift out of position? -How do you progress?

You progress after you play well for a while, I don't think it atters too much about positonal sense-you should see me, I'm all over the shop trying to get into some space. I started on just pissing about the first day I brought the game, and Stoke came in for me, but then I did a serious one, and I ended up at Hull , I'm first team sub at the moment

That's the one Ben My stats go up pretty slowly too. Haven't figured out how to get them up on the quick though I think the trick is to work with your strengthen blocks. You know on the information screens left hand pane, theres something called player settings, I think it is. If you go into there and select strengthen, you can move the blocks around. I think that's how you increase the speed of which you'll improve. My stamina is decent enough at the moment so I've taken two off of there and stuck it on my technique for kicking, as my shooting accuracy is terrible for a SS. It's a cracking mode and I haven't touched the Master League yet. Only thing I would say is don't sign for an average side who play 4-5-1, it's fucking hard-work on top player.

I had a quick go on PES 2009 last night for this first time, just played a few exhibitions and it’s fair to say I’m pretty sh*t at it!!
Really good game though and I like how they’ve slowed the game play down compared to 08. It gives it a more “real” feel about it, having to pass it around and wait to create chances etc.

WD: I had was shocked how bad I was when I first played it, a top player on 08 cant dribble round a computer on regular. Theyve made the one on one really hard i think.
About become a legend-- do you reckon putting it on 5 minute matches for a while to get my stats up would work? They are literally going up by 3 each time, and your stats are shit to start with, its not going well, but Its very addictive.

Plus if the team plays 4-5-1, and you're up front you might not get a touch for about 7 minutes!!!! Anyone else still try to control other players-trying to get them to tackle and the like?

smapples, I think it’s because I’m used to playing it 2 player. I’m used to having someone else making runs into space etc. When I play on my own I give possession away too often (passing straight to the opposition!!).
I’m sure there are buttons you can use when playing one player to make players make runs into space but I can’t be arsed look into it and find them out!!

Yeah there is a button and of course Ben88 knows what it is, he probably knows the hand of god button as well.
Davemong: Good call. I barely get anytime on my Xbox as its collected to the main TV, and I have to sit through Gok wan and corrie before I get 20mins of man action when the missus is in the bath.
Not being funny but if I have to watch anything girly its gotta be Gok Wan, even though its an hour of uplifting feminist drivel you get to see a lot of tits in it, which is always a bonus when your sitting with your missus and its completely allowed.

if you double tap the right trigger your player will call for the ball,
and your team mates a more likely to pass to you,
also a little tip : dont use that silly default camera angle, just use the one you used to playing with in a normal game, then set it on ball, so it follows play, then use the LB to stay in position,

Actually, the whole be a pro thing was on a game in the mid 90's, back before PES even existed lol, but FIFA was the first out of the 2 I've seen use it over here, and I played last years winning 11 (the actual game not the PES version) and it wasn't on there, but be a pro was on fifa.
Eventually it'll probably end up as a separate game with a full career, interviews etc just basically emulating the life of a footballer.

That wouldnt be that bad, not for 40squid like, but as long as konami make it though.
Right trigger is RT on the xbox 360 or the right hand back button that looks a bit like a trigger.
I like the view of be a legend its easier for shooting, just a bloody shame my player cant shoot yet.

Was a terrible game, I had so much expectation, bought it for my old playstation. If this is the kind of thing that flicks your switch Football Superstars is out soon, I was a beta tester for it but gave up due to work load. Very impressive game and has the potential to be the biggest online game ever Libero Grande? Was out around the same time the ISS series.
