I was sat at my desk one day when this guy knocked on my office door and was none other than Wayne himself wanting a note signed for some palletts he was collecting. Sat down for about an hour talking Stoke when he realised my walls were covered in posters etc
Great player.........never thought he's ask me for an autograph though

Megastar? That doesn't do him justice...he's a 20th century tanned goalscoring icon!!!! I had a poster of him on my wall when I was 14, he was the only bloke amongst a sea of pseudo-pornographic posters featuring lovelies such as Natalie Imbruglia and Cindy Crawford. My Mum was a bit worried about me, she thought that having a picture of a tanned hunk on my wall meant I was bi-curious...my Dad understood though. Infact he used to "borrow" the picture every time he went to the toilet. Actually that's not true... He only had it a couple of times.
