One thing about playing better second half is that Capello sees what required to improve and acts on it. And it's worked so far.

I thought we played some decent stuff and 3 very good goals. The opposition were also decent passers but shite defensively. Well done to Postman Pat who has the players well organised and seems very good tactically...changed tactics at half time and shut them out. I am still stunned that players of the calibre of wes brown and wayne bridge get a game for england...we really do have a shortage of decent english fullbacks.

Talking of the crap defence Woodgate must feel hard done by. Unless he's injured.

Agree. I do think he'd be better than Upson though.

Agreed. Lescott's in poor form but I rate him higher than Upson as well.

brilliant so far even with a under strengh team, like how his tatics to make teams play narrow against us, and his tatics for set peices attacking and defending are spot on.

That was excellent, friendly or not Special mentions for the much maligned Downing, Johnson, Carrick etc who all played exceptionally well this evening. Totally controlled the game, did they have a decent chance apart from the gimme?

I thought Wright-Phillips had a superb game, as did Agbohnlahor

Anyone else feel the same, i been waiting since Saturday for tonight's game, never felt like that before, for a england match. I know we aint played a tough one except Croatia, who we annihilated at there own shed stadium. ROLL ON APRIL ;D ;D For Years the only thing England have needed is a Coach/Manager that has the balls to stand up to the pampered overpaid chavs and their knuckle dragging Managers. The talent has always been there. That is exactly what we now have, plus he just happens to be a damn fine coach who has the clarity of mind to recognise what each player has to offer. I think England now have an excellent chance of getting further in South Africa than they have in any comp since 66. How ironic that we are succeeding with an Italian coach whose approach is to run the National Team as you might expect a traditional English Coach to do. COME ON ENGLAND!

capello seems to have them playing like an English team, just like watching a premiership side. They are playing well and understand that they are not gauranteed a shirt like they were under the blagger and Mcclaren. Beat Germany in Germany, what ever the circumstances, would take every week.

I got no interest in those overpaid 'ive brought everything, but never won anything for England' wankers.

Most of these England players do have a tendency to buy 10 supercars whilst struggle with the notion of 'carbon footprints' . Oh for the days of Klinsman's beetle....and he was intelligent too.

Agreed, although seem to remember your "blagger" similarly beating Germany in Germany as well.

Yeah well said, he runs it like a army camp, strict and under watch from him while they are there. He calls players buy there surnames and the players have to do that to.
