Cheers Mark for the link. I always read bob's post when it's on. Gooaarrn the young 'uns. ;D I notice though, from the rivals thread that he mentions a leaking roof at the academy dome and possible stone throwing by the locals. Shocking!! When are we ever going to be given something new in this City that people don't decide to smash, wreck, destroy or just fucking piss up when the mood takes them.

In fairness our academy facilities are pretty good. It is noticable however that clubs with the benefit of Premier League finances, however brief, do manage to provide one-site facilities exclusive for academy use that are a step beyond us at the moment.
I was at Leicester's new set up a couple of weeks ago, for example. They had to withdraw from the academy set up during the time they were in admin but have now re-joined with the adforesaid site and facilities. In their case its Premiership money plus the proceeds of diddling their creditors that has put them that step ahead of us.
Our lads still smacked them 3:0 though. ;D

Sorry Mark. I may have misled you or you misread. Wasn't putting down our facilities at all just the fact that the very people it's supposed to benefit can't find anything better to do than to try and trash it

Hi Bogus,
I had understood you, was just dealing with the idea that our lads trained in some sort of third world environment.
Your post regarding the respect shown by the local idiots for property speaks for itself.
Cheers
