Good players will not sign until the end of the window - FACT. Players like Routledge, whelean, ect will wait to see if they can get a better move, and if they can't they will join stoke. This isn't Pulis fault its just football!!!

I had 3 days to accept my job offer otherwise it lapsed. We are 4th in the league, 4 pts off top, with a 5 points gap from 7th and look a good bet for at least the play offs. If we are not an attractive club then when the hell will we be? Its all the fault of agents, money for nothing in my opinion and the scum of the earth  |

To be fair though calgary there are probably quite a few people who could do your job to a similar standard as you. However there are not quite so many available footballers at the right price with the right qualities to do a job for us! Sadly they are holding all the aces when it comes to doing deals, and they know it! In yours and my case, sadly our bosses hold the aces!  |

Gary- And we have Pugh, Cort. Teams don't want to sell there best players, and agents want to make as much money as they can.
How would you feel if Fuller went out on loan with a view to signing.
The best players will wait and have the pick of clubs rather than jumping at the first offer!

Trebor - not in Calgary mate, if I got sacked today I could walk into a new job tomorrow (subject to immigration of course).  I just think clubs should attempt to take some power back from these agents and players. Make them an offer, make it public and if they don't accept within a reasonable period let it be known that it lapses. I would like to see players that want to improve my club not those that chose us because nothing better came along. I'd have definitely done it with Griffin last year and I reckon there's a good chance we would've got him. Unfortunately all this is the dream of an ideal world ......  |
