Been watching Sky Sports News on and off and listening to Radio 5 following last night's drubbing for Newcastle. Everyone - press, fans, neutrals - are going to be watching Newcastle's next game like hawks.
The Toon are on an awful run - a defeat against a Championship side would be a big nail in the coffin and would spark a media frenzy I think. I just hope our lads can do us proud and maybe give alot of people what they are (maybe not openly) wanting.
I was looking forward to Fuller turning it on against Premiership opposition until this week's sad news. Even if he comes back on Friday and wants to play, the jet-lag will surely rob him of some sharpness. With or without Ricci, let's get behind the team and hope maybe Cresswell starts upfront if needed.

The pressure is all on Newcastle. This could make or break their season, a bit like Everton under Howard Kendal, one game away from the sack, late goal, went on to win the Cup. Lets hope it's a bit different for Big Sam i.e. knocked out by Stoke and sacked by Monday. I have to say I think we would have been better suited playing up there - even more pressure on them from their own fans. Still, maybe a replay and then Allardyce sacked before the month's out ;D
