He was pretty bad but I don't fell there was a need to boo him off. He and Sidibe aren't going to be a double act ever. Would like to see him playing alongside Fuller.
Was it just me or was Parkin's ball control really bad? His first touch always put it beyond himself and straight to the opposition.
I would like him to have a good central midfielder to back him up so he could whack some belters into the net!

he did ok upfront with last season got to be give a chance with fuller

He has some ability but neither the dedication or heart for the job in hand. In another era he maybe could have been a bit of a crowd favourite but in the modern game he just looks like a big fat wasting joke of a man.

I thought he was useless on tuesday but to be fair its never going to work with him playing along side Sidibe. I dont believe for one miniute he cant get some more weight off himself either, If he could get properly fit he would be a good player otherwise hes a 10 minute man.  |

He's had a lot of chances. He's had the chance to lose weight and he's had the chance to work aaard but he hasn't really done either. I'd love to know his time for 100metres and for a three or four mile run but I'm not sure that he could make it. He has skill and has made some brilliant little flicks and he used to make a lot of incisive runs, most of which were ignored, but now he seems to be in a terminal decline. Even so we shouldn't be booing Stoke players.

He's got the technique but not the application - for a big man he "jumps" to an even smaller height than Rikki Dadasson.
I could see why Pulis started him on saturday (although I'd have gone the Cressie route myself) but if Parkin can't be arsed against the manager who kicked him out and in the knowledge that a starting berth alongside Fuller is up for grabs then when will he?

He's had more than enough chances. He's just not good enough for this level. Never has been. Never will be. Get rid ASAP. IMO, just not fit to wear the shirt. Perhaps he could do a job for the Vale but he certainly can't do one for us. Can you imagine him playing should we get into the Prem?
