We've got Pugh and Cort in that will be made Perm, he did his homework made a decision and moved for them.
Be patient.
The only real busy ones at present are QPR and that's because they have new money.

It is the third - but we've been "working hard" to bring players to the club since June 07. All we ever hear in interviews is how we are "working hard" to bring in players. I'd have expected us to have identified the players we wanted and to have had deals pretty much done and dusted for as soon as the window opened.
It seems now that we are looking into what we need, which seems a little late.

Like i said before, i'm sure he'll get good players in, but for me if they don't make at least one positive signing for the Newcastle game, it will be a big opportunity missed.
What better way to really get the buzz going around the place on sunday than a good quality player in raring to go and hopefully Fuller back, with Diao being declared fit.
We are getting better PR wise for trying to do things right with all the pre match stuff and in other matches having fun days and ball juggling at half time and all that, but if they want to get serious and create a genuine buzz about the place, sign someone now!

The loan signings are good players and getting them on long contracts is a good start, but even with all of the current loanees in place to at least the year end, the squad is nowhere near strong enough (in my opinion) to mount a sustained challenge.

Looks like they've been railroaded into officially confirming he is signing on the 15th..for some reason. God knows the significance of the 15th - or why Cort hasn't been confirmed?

Whats worse than not signing any new players is that fact that Broomes, Buxton, Pericard, Pulis etc are still here.....ha ha
