What about Hendrie? Can't see it happening and wouldn't want him back TBH, he was good for Stoke the first time he was here but not so good on his return, he's the sort of player that will be happy sitting around at Sheffield doing nothing and collecting his £15k a week. Well I've not read anywhere else that Stoke are after Mendez and I posted that Stoke are going to make an offer of £500k for Whaley which again I've not read anywhere else. Also my rumours come from an employee of Stoke City. GPG Gouranga. |

Mendez was suggested by Simon Lowe in his Sentinel column (part of the Mail group) last week.
He also said Stoke had tried to get a prem centreback with champions league experinece but were rebuffed.
Possibly the chap @ Newcastle who Pulis scouted when he was at Standard Liege?
