Freightingly I think he does and will persist with them. For all his positive points spotting a bad player and gettinf rid is not his strong point. If Keane hadn't have wanted Wright back he would still be here and he has been shocking. Creswell should be battling it out up front (and deserves first crack now) and that left side a priority. I reckon if Griff returns , Pugh will be left mid. A big mistake if you ask me. That would give us the slowest midfield in the league. Wonder if Delap will go to right back now. He is in the team for his throws. Waiting to be underwhealmed.

I don't think that Pulis actually rated Wright to be honest, don't know why just have an inclining. He couldn't exactly say to the media that he thought he was crap though as that could have upset the dressing room atmosphere. Delap to right back is highly likely and I doubt that Cresswell will be pushed up front as he's doing well on the wing and despite earlier in the season saying that he'd rather play up front he hasn't come out and said that recently so I think he might actually be enjoying it there. I also doubt that Griffin will come back for a 3rd term so Pugh will be staying put at left back.

I think you can read Pulis's comments at the weekend in 2 ways - either "let's not forget it's the current squad who have got us to 4th" or "when we do bring in players and get promotion let's not forget the lads who got us to 4th in the first half of the season"
I appreciate that until replacements are signed, sealed and delivered that Pulis has got to maintain the morale of the players he has and I'm hoping that that is what's behind his comments as opposed to any genuine belief that players like Pericard are good enough to get us promoted - time will tell!
