A rumour still doing the rounds at Stoke on Tuesday, could possibly be some mileage in it now Mamma is off. Could still do a job and is better then Porkin or Perican’t. GPG Gouranga.

Apart from Fuller he's stile a mile better than any other striker at Stoke. He's coming off the bench and still scoring for Burnley GPG Gouranga.

Could be interesting to see him up front with Fuller. Couldn't do the same job as Mama but has the same work ethic that Pulis likes, can't usually hit a barn door with a banjo but can't be any worse than Mama in that respect. :-)

How many has he got, not enough to warrant a move to an apparent promotion chasing team. I liked Ade, but hes past it now., time to move on don't you think ? ....If you listen to the Burnley fans ( not always the best idea ) but they can't wait to get shot of him and has been awful since his return.

Cresswells better for a start...then add on Shawcross and then...
Pulis would be a fool to bring him back and I think he knows it.!

But Cresswell isn't playing as a Striker and I'd have to argue with you about him being better anyway, Shawcross Lawrence Cort have all scored a few but they're not strikers, and anyone who thinks Mamma is a better striker than Ade needs their head examining FFS. GPG Gouranga.

Good shout, Alb. Said the same thing myself earlier on another thread. It would be an interesting front partnership of Ade and Fuller and as a bonus, if Fuller was out, Ade can still [hopefully] do it. I don't know of any other player who can play the 'Pulis System' better than either of them.
The Pulis system works even though it's not pretty, but only with a tireless front man hustling the defenders. We really don't have any other player on the books who can do that now except Fuller. As we've seen before, Ade can do that job.

I WAS a fan of Ade, i liked how he ran his socks of for Stoke, but that was a few years ago now and he hasn't got any younger. His only real threat was his pace and strength, but he seems to have lost that pace now. I agree, he is better than mama, but fuck me, there are plenty more younger better options around.
Step backwards imo

Albert...Yes Cresswell isn't being played as a striker whereas Akinibiyi was.!!!
How many did he score...?
As for Sidibe's scoring record....well it speaks for itself along with Pericard and Parkin.
Fuck all three oorf and get two GOOD strikers in....It's like we enjoy pissing about with broken tired equipment.
Get a fuckin' craftsmen in who can do a proper job.!

If he has lost his pace then I would agree. That position requires a 'headless chicken' approach unless you're lucky enough to have a really talented player like Fuller who can combine moments of tremendous pace and skill to unsettle defenders. If Ade still has the pace then I would go for it. Cresswell is a good striker but even he can't play that front role in a Pulis system......I don't think. I suppose chance would be a fine thing. OS.
