Doesnt look too good to be honest, Tone said that he wont push Fuller to be back for the game as his nan brought him up instead of his mum, so its hit him hard.

Putting things into perspective it would be wrong to make him come back really. Just have to hope.

Went to Jamaica once when I was younger and got pally with the locals. It seems that the grandparents always do the job of bringing the kids up over there so that the more able parents are able to go out and bring the money in. Chances are that it's hit Fuller harder than most of us could imagine so its nice to see that the club are behind him whatever his decision is on his return. It'll be a shame if he's not back but if he's back before he should be it can only be bad for the club for the rest of the season.

If he is back for the game I hope the club and the fans show him the appreciation that he deserves for it. If he does score and point to the sky there'll be a lump in my throat I can tell you now

Whoever plays on Sunday, I hope they give it a bloody good go. Our last three big cup games have seen us play Liverpool, Everton and Chelsea without scoring and each game was hugely disappointing, two of them were screened live, for everyone to laugh.
Come on Stoke, roll your fkin sleeves and give it a go!

Got to agree with Gary. If he's going to miss another game I'd rather it be this one than one where three points are at stake.
Thinking about it I would prefer he stayed away for this one. I can see him rushing back for this game with his head out of sorts and getting sent off. We're then shagged for the next 3 matches.
Stay away Ricci until you're well and truly ready.
Deepest condolences to you.

I agree PolPotter, we need to go out in a positive frame of mind and at least give it a go. It's a cup competition that we know we will not win, there are no points at stake so let's just go for it with an agressive and attacking attitude. We should respect them but if we go out with a bit of tempo we may knock a top flight team out for a change.

He'll play and do a Titi Camara from Liverpool a couple of years back. He lost his Dad then when he scored none of the other players came over to celebrate, they just let him have a moment of reflection. I reckon he'd be well fired up for for a poignant goal.

ricci is a professional and will do the right thing by his nan and the club, what better way to pay his respects to her than by scoring the winner on sunday
