Im sure i have just seen a picture of Cort's goal on the back page of the Newcastle chronicle in sky sports news' back page review, with the headline "cort in the net" , i think Newcastle are worrying about the aerial threat we pose. If Fullers not playing our only threat will be from set pieces and corners when the back two go forward.

Set pieces will certainly be interesting, as Newcastle have looked very vulnerable from them at times when I have seen them on MOTD.
Also, '... while Oba Martins will probably get his last home start tonight until who knows when, as he is due to report with Nigeria for their African Cup campaign in the next couple of days.
United have asked that Martins be allowed to play in Sunday’s FA Cup third-round tie at Stoke City, but at the moment this has fallen on deaf ears.'
I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing! I'd be surprised if Owen didn't get a good run at us on Sunday.

I'm not sure they'd want to risk Owen against out back fouur, who have a combined height of 567 foot.

Owens on the bench for Newcastle tonight, he'll probably be on the bench against us too.

I just hope to god Fuller is back for this game, ... that said what state of mind will he be in even if he does get back in time ?

Owen Stats5'8" apparently. Don't reckon he'll start against us (should Smith and Viduka both be available anyway), but I'd be pretty confident in thinking he'll be on for at least 30 mins on Sunday.

Owen's small but can head a ball better than Mama-in the 18 yard box anyways!

I'd much rather face Smith and Viduka than Owen and Martins.
It'd also markedly increase the jeer-factor.

I don't think it makes any odds who they have up front, they will score with our defence as it is and that means we have to score at least 2. Best hope Fuller's back and well up for it cause otherwise that won't happen.

The good thing about our back two is that they can be physical when needed and are very mobile, which will help whoever plays up top for them.

owen on for martins HT
from bbc text
2054: ...and Michael Owen almost draws Newcastle level after being put through by Charles N'Zogbia but Joe Hart saves with his right leg. Owen probably should have scored.
