Spoke to my mate earlier who is a Bumley fan. He said that Andy Gray has not played the last 3 games due to injury but the rumour going around turd moor is that he is leaving.
He would be a great signing IMHO.
If we want premiership football that is the type of signing we need. We would then have one of if not the best strike partnership in the championship.

best striker in the division, pound for pound
works hard, wins headers , scores goals, creates chances
if ( we definitely )wont)we signed him we wouldnt need anyone else, him and ric would be unplayable
hes a premiership player imo, a host of clubs would be after him if he were to leave them

Do you know how that rumour has come about winsford? Any foundations to it? Would be surprised if he left during this window for another Championship club - unless Burnley need to sell their assets?

They brought him for 650k. Would it be worth offering £1.5 million to see if would break any ice? Gray & Fuller would be a promotion winning forward line.

Good finisher and a real wind-up merchant to boot. Just the kind of player you need for trips to Oakwell and the Hawthorns

Andy Gray? Would be a good signing. Mind you, he'd have to bang in a dozen quick goals before I'd forget his comments on Steve Foley's tackle on Neil Aspin.

EXACTLY the sort of player to rock the city.
Such signings would allow us to secure promotion
and if we dont do such things - we aren't strong enough to go up - yesterday made that crystal clear to anyone watching

There's nothing to suggest any rumours of an imminent departure on the Burnley board.
And he is 30, and was a disaster in the Prem for Sunderland.
He does look very good at this level though, and he'd be great alongside Fuller.

He hasnt played for 3 games due to having 4 stitches in his leg. People at Burnley are saying that he is very close to agreeing a deal to go somewhere else which is why he hasnt been playing. Dont know if there is any truth in it or not but derby is a team being mentioned.
