I was listening to P&G on the way home yesterday and I was livid at a couple of the early callers! I can’t believe the shite that comes out of some “supposed” supporters mouths. We are now on a 10 game UNBEATEN run, after getting a 3-1 result from the best team in this division. We’re obviously definitely not the same team without Fuller but with a threadbare squad, devoid of decent depth Pulis has worked wonders. We are an average size club for this Division and we are well placed with a definite chance thanks to this squad and backroom staff. We’re an attractive proposition now for players who want to push on in their careers (Pugh/Cort) and for those looking to reignite their careers (Fuller/Diao). I’d have done it differently yesterday myself if I was manager but I’m not. So I just remain disappointed with a point, optimistic about the season ahead and loyal to Stoke City! These are excited times for us and we should be grateful of being in our position talking about promotion. Just look at all of the “much bigger teams” who have all spent more, have bigger squads, bigger wages and supposedly more potential than us, all below us, some fighting relegation!!! All those moaning twats who slag off the team and manager following results like yesterday should feck off!
BE LOYAL BE PROUD BE STOKE!!!

Got to agree, the game was very poor yesterday BUT were 4th in the league and only 4 points off top spot. Get a grip.

Just a bad day at the office for everyone yesterday. Players, manager, and fans (lack of atmosphere.) With Newcastle to come, it will be a welcome distraction from a brilliant league position. I don't feel that yesterday's performance will be the norm in the 2nd half of the season.

I wouldn't like to see that theory tested by a prolonged period without Fuller though.
It was scary to see us without him.

Just for that...
... have some exaltation!
As frustrating as yesterday was for all concerned, people need to look at the bigger picture here. The deficiencies in the squad are there for all to see, but after the recent run of results I don't see how anyone can justify laying into the players or the manager at the moment. We are going to have a sticky spell at some point (it's inevitable!) - we have to stick together, from the Chairman down to the fans, during that period to make sure it doesn't last long or have a detrimental effect on our challenge.

Fuller aside, what's most concerning was the manager's selection up front.
Let's hope we don't get an ongoing demonstration of his stubbornness to prove his belief that Mama, Parkin and Pericard are "full of power and pace."
Does he not know that Richard Creswell is a striker, ffs ?
