Yesterday at about 13.00 it was Stoke sold 15,000 and Newcastle 2,800 So unless a late surge it's going to be under 20,000.

no there wasnt.
- there is usualy a fair amount of tickets sold in the two/three days prior to such games.
If there is no (incoming) transfers by saturday & Fuller doesnt come back then should be just over 20000. If Fuller does come back & if Stoke actually sign a good player we couyld get towards 25000
Doesnt look llike the toon army will be selling out though.

Mark, I'm not so sure: - 4,000 empty seats in the away end 5,000 empty seats in the JS stand 2,000 empty seats in the boothen I couldn't see the Seddon stand too much as I was in it.

they defo brought more than 800 there was more than 3000 people in the west stand and i would defo say there was less than 2000 empty seats in the boothen and the seddon looked pretty full
+ going by your figures there would have to have been nearly 2000 empty seats in the seddon and i really dont think there was
oh well it dont matter that much!

STOKE City have revealed they have sold almost 20,000 tickets for Sunday's eagerly anticipated FA Cup clash against Newcastle United at the Britannia Stadium.
With just days to go before the big third-round kick-off, Stoke have sold 16,500 home tickets so far.
The Premiership outfit have sold a further 3,000 of their allocation, but City's chief executive Tony Scholes believes this will rise to around the 4,000-mark.
Scholes said: "Ticket sales have been going really well and we are expecting a crowd considerably over 20,000.
"That will be fantastic especially as the BBC are covering the game live."
Stoke believe they will pocket at least £250,000 from the game, including £150,000 in television revenue and they are also set to receive a 45 per cent cut of the gate receipts.
Scholes added: "Tickets are selling day-by-day and if people are wishing to come along I would advise them to come and purchase them as soon as possible to ensure they get the best choice of seats."
Tickets for the Newcastle tie will not be available to buy on the day of the game - fans have until 5.30pm on Saturday to buy their tickets from Stoke City's ticket office

Is there a good reason why the tickets won't be available on the day of the game? Presumably the ticket office staff don't want to work that day, but surely we could give em some of next week off? I know it's easy enough to get a ticket in advance, which i have done, but there seems to be a lot of stokies who argue the right to sponteneity (not true supporters clearly )
