Did anyone notice what Delap did to merit Man of the Match? A couple of interceptions and the throw that led to the goal was all I noticed.
I thought Pugh played really well (again) and was a worthier candidate. He was the only player who looked sharp yesterday; the others looked like they were on Mogadon.

I thought during the match that Delap deserved to get man of the match because quite simply he was everywhere and also looked to play the ball with a very good vision.
Well done Rory because you had a fantastic match.

I thought Delap deserved his MOM. I particularly watched him throughout the game yesterday and was impressed with his unhurried skills. I think we would have lost yesterday had he not played so well.
OS.

I thought Delap deserved it on yesterday's showing.
I am no fan of his, but he has played pretty well these past 5 or 6 games, and is quite clearly lasting the pace much better at the moment.
Shawcross was the only other viable candidate for MOM on yesterday's showing, which was poor to say the very least.

We were talking about it before it was announced and agreed it was between Delap and Lawrence so I wasn't surprised at all. Thought he was excellent yesterday and not just because of his throw-ins, though it was nice to see us making best use of these yesterday. There had very obviously been talk about how to make the most of them before the game.

He was certainly my pick for man of the match.
Not only were his long throws causing havoc in a dull match, but his work ethic was very good
There was one moment when he tracked back his man superbly in the first half after we had a corner.
Well done Rory, keep it up!

Lawrence? Yeh he worked hard but he couldn't beat the 1st man on corners, free kicks and gave the ball away sloppy that gave them there equaliser!!! Yeh he must of been MOM then?
Delap did alot of covering and interceptions and that throw caused havoc for a change so i think he just about deserved it but thats how bad we were really.
Bring on NUFC and a break from the league!

I think it was about the best we've seen of Delap tbh. I sometimes think that we forget how bad his injury was and how it might have affected him both physically and mentally.

At the start of the season when Eustace looked to be recovering his form I never thought we'd see Delap look better. But, for the past month or so, Delap has looked the better player most of the time. I reckon TP will be very tempted to move him to right back when Diao is fit and we have a creative player to play alongside him.

Rory had a very good game and improved from a decent performance against WBA as well, he read the game well and was always there to tidy up. He kept things simple and kept the ball well. He has come on game by game recently and deserved his MOM yesterday.
Pugh cost us the goal by poor marking and nearly cost us a second (maybe becuase it looked like his back had gone after 20 mins?) when Windass hit the top of the bar. Pugh has been a steady acquisition for us but yesterday didn't deserve mom.

My MoM would have been either Shawcross or Cort, BUT when they read Delap's name out I felt Okay with that!!!

Please try and remember that the "Sponsors" MOM is very often chosen by a group of ladies who have more interest in the player's legs than how they actually perform (oo er missus). To be fair though, Rory probably had his best game for some time, and I don't really know how his legs rate

After 15 minutes yesterday Delap was about to be substituted because Dicko was stripped ready to come on but then Delap signalled to say i will give it 5 minutes and see how it goes.We all know he went on to have a good game but it looked like he was defo coming off at that point with Pugh going into midfield.

I normally think he's toss, yesterday though Delap was MOM no question about it, credit where credit is due.
