The reason I did this was because I was curious to how we compared to the rest of the top 6.

Ipswich - DLLW - 4pts - couldn't be arsed to do there mileage as they only scraped into the top 6 yesterday.
Looking at that it becomes clear just how important those three points at the Whingers really were! Also the fact that we really did get screwed royally in the mileage stakes! Doing 60 miles more than Bristol and 241(!) more than the Whingers!
Bristol City - almost as badly screw on the milage as us - had a very good Christmas period - dunno if they've got what is needed to see it home and all teams have a slump at some point!
But really considering the amount of travelling and 4 games in just over a week - the 6 pt haul even in comparison to the rest at the top is a decent return.
As nice as it would be to beat Newcastle the disturbance of an FA Cup run with the lack of numbers in our squad is a worry! Since the way we play pressurising and out working the opponents just won't happen if they are knackered . . much like yesterdays performance sounded.
One very pleasing thing to see is we are still unbeaten in 10 games - whereas all other team in the top 6 lost at least once.
