I said exactly the same thing, I thought that was possibly the obvious choice. Couldnt believe it when i heard it would be a Parkin Sidibe attack.

Exactly what we were saying where i was sitting. Okay don't necessarily start that way. But after seeing that parkin and sidibe isn't working and we need some pace in our attack, i thought it was quite obvious. Demar obviously didnt eat enough over christmas  |

Yea I thought after a half of seeing how bad Parkin was, you'd try and swap it around.
Or even with 5 mins to go with one sub left to bring on....but no - he puts on a defender ???

to be honest when i heard fuller was out my first thought was pushing pugh to left mid and bring dicko in at left back and cresswell up front
never thought he would go with parkin and sidibe

He has been ineffective for this half of the season - but the current style does not suit him, and until we bring in players of similar ability to those last year, then I don't think we can write him off. He was scoring for fun last year...remember.....we just need to play to his strengths more, and whilst I accept that isn't possible with the current group of players, past January, it should be. Would of played Cressy up top from the start mind, yesterday. Feed the Beast..... |
