Heart sank when I heard he wasn't playing. The whole team know the threat was gone without him. Thought TP had his worse game today. Wright was shocking again and the Parkin debarcle has gone on to long - he is toss and should be gone. Cress up front and Phillips or Pugh in left mid. Bad decisions today.

Showed in pretty depressing fashion how much we rely on him, and how he transforms us from solid and dependable to genuinely threatening.

Without Fuller today we looked second best to a Hull team that will probably end up finishing in mid-table.
With Fuller in the team I think we'd have won fairly comfortably.
If anything happens to him long-term we're fucked.

If anything happens to him long-term we're fucked. Ain't that the truth Only one creative presence on the pitch in red and white today (Lawrence) and he didn't sparkle. Without Fuller, we looked incredibly ordinary and were completely outplayed for long spells (not unusual at home this season) and didn't even have Fuller's individual brilliance to counter-punch with. There's still much to admire about the team at the moment - but today was a bit of a wake-up call about how much we rely on our one special player, and how he transforms us into promotion wannabes from game tryers.
