Think we are suffering due to our small squad. We need to get players in in January, the major worry is our inability to keep a clean sheet.

Once Salif is fit and a couple of decent players coming in, it could all look very different very soon...

We actually took as many points over the 4 seasonal games as WBA,but remained undefeated. Its hardly a slump is it? The only really big worry for me is that we can't defend leads at the moment.Hopefully Diao playing in front of the back 4 and a couple of half decent signings might sort this out.

10 games unbeaten remember folks , i wouldn't go as far as saying it's a slump, but we certainly need to strengthen the squad a.s.a.p, there was no creativity, and without fuller, in the final third, our previous problems returned today, defensively again problems arised, and yet another game where we have failed to keep a clean sheet. 4th in the league, is still something to bloody happy about, and promotion is still very much for the taking, the gap may be 4 points, between us and the above now, but i honestly think we'll win at portman road because that would be typical stoke, draw the asier match, win the tougher one. We can't get get despondant now we must keep willing the team on, becuase we CAN do it, i believe it and i'm sure many others do. A frustrating point today, but to hull's credit they dug in deep, and got a well deserved point, we can enter newcastle in full spirits still, a game in which THEY have everything to lose. Cmon Stoke, do us proud on Sunday.

Dreadful today, and Hull were well worth their point.
No pace, no creativity, no flair - in short, we were abysmal and this highlighted what we need this month. We need more fire-power in the forward line, some creativity from the middle, a direct runner down the sides and a centre back capable of orchestrating the defence.
We're in a superb position - but in order to make use of it, we need to make the appropriate signings.
Parkin was ineffective - he will be until we start to play to his strengths, which, of course, is on the floor. Sidibe threat is being nullified by opposition defences and there was no threat from either forward to what I felt was an indecisive and unconvincing back line.
Eustace looked on his last legs and feeling the strain of a congested Xmas period. We've got to get Diao available as soon as possible....
Goarrrn Stoke!!!

Hmmm, interesting. I have been pretty critical before and no, I wasnt able to make it today so can only take others words for it and 3 points over Xmas over 3 games isnt great but look at who we played again and maybe it could have been worse?
Hull - on a run at the moment and climbing the table Plymouth - were 6th when we played them Barnsley - I remember the comments on here and checking myself and they were THE form home team at the time
Therefore, not easy games at all as all had some serious form going into games against us.
Talking crap??? Possibly, but we could have had easier games too!!!
