Despite my many misgivings of Mr Pulis, it is hard to argue with his achievements & our present position. After attending the last two away games Stokes team spirit is very evident, as is their ability to play football, with two or three decent signings next month we can now go all the way. I feel much more confident than this time last year. Go on Stoke we can do it. Happy New Year to Stokies everywhere.

happy new year all.
We have every chance of going all the way, and reaching the promised land this year, the sloppy goals we are conceding regulary MUST stop, because although it isn't costing us hugely atm, it will if we don't tighten up.
January see's us travel to Charlton and Ipswich, and with the goals being conceded of late, i just get the feeling we wont get off as lightly next time round. A clean sheet would work wonders for morale, for the back-four, and notably simmo who has looked slightly anxious and hesitant of late.
The reason this could be the case, is maybe lack of confidence in each other? The defence prone to mistakes just to lack of cofidence in there out-of-form goalie, and likewise for simmo and the defence.
In terms of attacking we are the most dangerous going forward for quite a while, cressy, lawrence, and fuller is a headache for any defence, and with salif there to hopefully mop-up in the middle, we will have a well balanced side, that still i stress lacks creativity in the centre, so pulis please bring in quashie or whelan.
This year is there for the taking for stoke, we have the right side, just a few top signing short of ideal, and a top manager, who true plays at times plays, tedious, one-dimensional football, but let's face it, it get's results, and a mixture of both that and " carpet " football and we can't go wrong.
Teams often have a go at us for being " bullies " but the fact of the matter is, we have big players, like mama sidibe, why not use them to our strength's in playing the long ball for them to flick-on?
Pulis has developed so many of our players the likes of: wilko, dicko, pugh (who looked shaky to start with) , players of whom i would happily have starting games for us now, and bar the likes of buxton, broomes, vince, delap, all of our side have something to offer.
The chance is here stoke grab it with both hands, you have our support.
