I'm happy with them, I'd have just been more happy if we'd managed to get Ledley or Pennant.

I'm not sure about the players we have signed.. perhaps the excitement of being in the Premiership doesn't help my expectations, but if they do well and we stay up i will be happy with their signings.
If Tonge is a confidence signing, for all his reported faults, Pulis seems to have a knack of making players play as good or above expectations and this can only be a further help to our chances on staying up.

This is good because Tonge could become like Akinbiyi.
Someone who thrives under TP.

That all sounds good to me, TP has proven ability at transforming these confidence players into something special.
I doubt he'll get many full 90 minutes. i reckon we've got him for threading some crafty passes through to fuller when we are trying to shut a game down and he's up front on is own.

it looks like tones gonna have one arm round tonge and the other round fuller telling em how good they are!

Tonge is without doubt a talented player but one who probably needs this move. Colin was the man at Sheff Utd who got the best out of him and he hasn't been the same since he left. I really believe TP is of a similar mentality and will be the man to get the best out of Michael again. He can beat his man with a trick, can pick a pass and has the ability to score goals. I think he'll be a very decent signing for us.
