Depends - if his attitude is as has been painted then no way.
on the other hand its often been the case that departing players are made out to be the bad guy (see Moxey J for the expert in this field) & there's no dspuiting that Commons would be a quality player in the CCC.

He did mess us about terribly before he finally signed for Forest. But he is older and if he is also wiser and has matured then I'd have him back. Apart from Hookey, he remains the best left winger we have had at Stoke for a long time. I understand that he now plays central midfield as well as left wing and I am sure he would be great in either position for Stoke. I don't think it will happen though - a lot of humble pie (cue jokes about his weight!) would need to be eaten to convince TP that he is a changed man. PS - one good thing is that we'd get him for a 15% (?) discount as there is a sell on clause.  |
