I reckon he'll be more than happy to take those comments given how ill he was. I heard he was back in training which is brilliant. Good luck to the lad. He's a lucky guy and I wish him all the best. I liked Clive. If Stoke had continued to play him in his best position which was central midfield, he would not have had so much stick from the fans. The problem was that he was used to fill in for so many around him who were pretty cack. Big_Ade loves him to bits. OS.

Why would you want to boo a guy who turned down bigger money from Sheff Utd to stay at Stoke- was capped whilst playing for us- is a great guy- is lucky to be alive thank God-loves the club and the area- gave his all despite the moron boo boys-came though our ranks when folk claim players never do-and comes to games at the Brit whenever he has the chance?????
If you're answer is on the the basis of say-he was shit etc then post again when you finish primary school
Great to see Clive on the mend-

couple of numbskulls! I think you should take that back hopefully you dont mean it
Never met him but my sister knew him quite well. He was always the nicest of the bunch when the stoke players were out on the piss apparently, although my sister couldnt understand a word he said in his thick irish brogue
Good to hear he is back in training as well, Good luck Clive

Having experienced a similar heart problem to Clive myself five years ago, I hope he makes the very fullest of recoveries and quick.
Obviously the remarks were made 'tongue in cheek', but there are just some things which shouldn't be joked about, sorry guys!

He got booed by a few people last time he came back, why should this be any different?
Hopefully he will make a full recovery and continue to play at such a high standard as he did at Stoke.... ;D
(Just to point out the above comment is a joke, I hope the Clive Clarke supporters club don't mind)
I'm not wishing bad health on him at all but should he play, I will be booing.

“Actually know Clive reasonably well, hopefully will play again this season Great Wicklow boy and drank my entire stock of booze at Uttoxeter races” Just endorses what I said, he’s a piss head seen him many times round Castle at 4-5am staggering and falling over. Just because he had a heart attack doesn’t make him a Stoke hero in fact he was distinctly below average as a player and an absolute joke as captain, never liked him as a Stoke player, he strutted around like he couldn’t give a fuck (probably couldn’t). And just because he had a heart attack doesn’t change my opinion of him except for one small detail he’s not just a piss head wank footballing cuntrag he’s a lucky to be alive piss head wank-footballing cuntrag. Although I don’t wish anything bad on him I couldn’t care less if he never plays football again. GPG Gouranga.

Am sure he'll be gutted to hear that ??? 'Just because he had a heart attack doesn’t make him a Stoke hero ' Sorry Albert missed who claimed he was- can you quote that for us who missed it. 'Just endorses what I said, he’s a piss head seen him many times round Castle at 4-5am staggering and falling over.' 'he’s not just a piss head wank footballing cuntrag he’s a lucky to be alive piss head wank-footballing cuntrag.' I take it when you saw him you told him that or just making the comment from the safety ot sitting behind your computer..............................no need to answer think we already know I know he reads the board-am sure he'll be mortified
