daughter is a police officer in Plymouth and was on duty for satdees game. She stood in front of Stokies at game and says what a wonderful bunch of fans they are! Delilah sung on at least 3 occassions was a sight to behold apparently. Says only 1 stokie arrested for being "drunk at a football match". New offence apparently to allow fans to arrive at game pissed but if not causing a nuisance can be ignored by police and stewards.

thought the stewards were pathetic at times to be honest, said to me that I wasnt allowed to take photos, yet I always do at away games, yet when I questioned him why, he just said that I wasnt allowed and didnt come up with any reason

I think you'll find that you weren't allowed to take photos because they'd undoubtedly make the Plymouth-based authors of all the pre-written match reports look like lying spunkfunnels.

To be honest stokecasual, all police in devon and cornwall constabulary have to pass stringent fitness tests regularly. So to ask me if my daughter was the "fit blond one" is like asking me if she was the one in black trousers and yellow top.

These young 'uns will have to get up early in a morning eh Lawrie. Well done to your lass. Contrary to what is often thought, many police officers have no problems with Stoke fans. They're not all of the same disposition as The West Yorkshire or West Midlands thugs brigade. The brother of one of our well known posters off here is the officer in charge when Stoke used to play Reading away. He said that they looked forward to Stoke coming because they'd get paid overtime for what would be an easy and entertaining day. Last time I spoke to him, I told him to write to our chief exec and let him know. His reply was that he wouldn't do that cus it would do away with one of the perks of the job. OS.
