Seen him ref 2 games now since his comeback and on both occasions he has been top class,our game against QPR and the Man City v Liverpool game that has just finished.

Think the reason he didnt start reffing this season until November was that he had failed his fitness tests but like you say broadway its very rare any player questions his decisions.

Thats right fingers, he's had a fitness "problem", but when he was at the brit i thought the amount of respect the players had for him/his descisions was great to see.....1 word ended all discussion when needed ....AWAY

Alan Green on 5live just said he is very worried about the standard of reffing after the Man City v Liverpool game WHAT,just shows you how opinions differ he reckoned Dunne and Richards should have been sent off for last man fouls,then again he is a Liverpool fan.

Rennie's been alright in his time, at least he has some banter with the players and fans. I remember being at York v Stoke in a league cup 1st round game a few years back, Rennie was getting some stick from the Stokies that night due to the fact he'd been "relegated" from the Prem and was reffing a quality 1st round tie. Rennie smiled throughout and even stuck his tongue out to the faithful that night when they took the piss out of him for some bizarre incident.
As for the Dennis Wise / Gerry Taggert incident, there are some extremely hilarious posts on youtube relating to it, for example

just for reference, the reason Rennie failed his fitnes test was simply because he had an injury at the time of the test, which i believe was nothing more than a calf strain
