We have a couple of very tough away games here... H Hull A Ipswich H Preston A Charlton Most people would assume that we'll win the home games, but Hull certainly won't be easy. However, I still think we'll come out on top in both, which we really have to do if we're serious about getting into the top 2. I can see our unbeaten run ending at Ipswich though, but we might nick a point at Charlton. Overall I'd be happy with 8 points out of these games, but reckon we'll get 7. P.S and we'll lose 0-1 in the cup, but everyone knows that.

i 2 wud be happy with 8ts from these 4 games but i think if we sort defence out we could end up with 10
Hull ------home win should be ipswich------take a point there in good form preston ----------home win if we don't get 3pts from this we don't deserve promotion charlton------wud take a point but considering charlton are "indifferent" at the moment we could sneak all 3pts here

All of those fixtures are difficult, bar Preston of course. Chances are those teams are going to be strengthening throughout January (especially Charlton and Ipswich) so they may not be all that easy.

Both home games will be tough, though must win games.
Ipswich have remarkable home form.......10 wins and 2 draws if I recall rightly, so I personally don't think we should expect anything from this fixture, and deem any points gained as a bonus. They tend to blood plenty of young lads, however, so there is a possibility our physical strength may unsettle them slightly.
Charlton will be another tough game, and these next 2 away games will be a test of our credentials.
7 points would be an acceptable return from January, and providing we get the players required, we will be stood in good stead for the rest of the season to make a surge towards the top flight.....

I would happily take 7 points from Jan given those games. I would expect 6 from home and 1 from the away games would keep us in with a great shout of the top spots. Oh, and a win in the FA cup too ;D

Jan is massive month for us, too see if we really can push for auto, or play offs, recent years its all gone down the pan, in this month, so will be interesting to see how we fair up, and what players come in that match our ambitions.
Hull - win, to strong for there little center halfs, 2-0 Stoke
Preston - tricky one, but can see us snatching this, 1-0
Ipshit - lose sorry cant see us getting anything there
Charlton - all depends who they sign during the window, we could snatch a win, but a draw is on the cards

Prior to the Watford game I predicted 11 points from the 6 games up to the Hull game. 9 so far with one to go. Lets hope its 12 and my 11 was wrong. Anyone here goes for the four games. 7 points.
