To be fair I'm listening to the Plymouth commentary and they've been very complimentary about him...and us in general.
Said Argyle were lucky to be level at half time and that you can see exactly why we've been scoring so many goals recently.
Also said Fuller deserved no more than a talking to for his bust-up.

Good of the PAFC commentators to say that.

rest him now . We don't want to be regretting points dropped again because he's missed a few sitters

Plymouth commentators must have been on the happy tablets cause the Stoke commentary have made Sidibe sound terrible and that Fuller should've walked

I agree
I don't believe there isn't a player out there who can both hold it up and score a goal occasionally.
was looking at his stats today, he has only ever been a free transfer and has never been able to score.
Tony Pulis, luck and recent results keep him playing at top 6 championship level. He simply is not good enough.

He hasn't been as effective since he busted his arm. He's won far fewer headers.

Sidibe flicks the ball on to Lawrence to create a good chance, we win a corner, we score.

If getting a corner counts as an assist your mental.
I'll repeat is there not a player who can hold the ball up/flick on who can score.

I didn't say it was an assist.
Just found this though:

Like i said there must be a better version of Sidibe.
you have a choice of selling Sidibe or Fuller..who goes?
Obviously the person who cant score.
iN HALF A SEASON, ITS UNBELIEVABLE.

To be fair I would miss some of his comedy shooting. He's actually my top scorer on FM08 as well. Playing him as a lone-striker and target man, he's netted 25 goals.

mama is great at holding the ball up and great in the air BUT he simply doesnt score. maybe the acn will change that, let us see. cresswell with fuller and phillips or pugh out wide left may be good.

lol i cant believe what i'm reading, watch the team without mama, we can't get anything to our striker. Watch the team with Mama, we suddenly look creative and able to win flick ons, balls in the air and through balls to Ric.
Mama is one of our best 3 players without doubt.

Have the people criticising mama ever played football because they appear to not understand the game.

Without a doubt Fuller seems happier with Mama alongside him than anyone else.
Maybe the ACN will give us a chance to explore other options? We have an enforced opportunity to experiment, albeit at a bad time.

I think Mama brings a lot to the team based on our normal pattern of play but he had been poor and largelly ineffective last 3 games. Problem is that we do not have a ready made replacement cause Parkin is not very good in the air and doesn't have the work rate. However I think we should start with Parkin against Hull cause if he can't motivate himself for a game against Phil Brown when can he? Now that Eustace is gradually getting better perhaps we can look to play a slightly more controlled game into Parkin's feet. So yes, rest Mama against Hull please.
