It's certainly plausible, definitely a Pulis type player. Don't think he'd be too bad a signing, truth be told. Got pace and can cuase problems.

Agyemang stalling on new North End deal 19 Dec 2007
Patrick Agyemang is stalling on a new contract offer at Deepdale – and that might force Preston to cash in on him in January. The speedy striker has been offered terms to extend his stay at Preston North End but has so far refused to put pen to paper.
He's out of contract at the end of the season and is entitled to start talking with other clubs in the New Year.
If a deal can't be reached soon and interest is shown in him – PNE have denied receiving a bid from Leicester City – the club will be tempted to sell during the transfer window to avoid losing him on a Bosman in the summer.
Preston chairman Derek Shaw said: "We are in a difficult situation with Patrick.
"We have offered him a couple of deals, but at the moment he is keeping his options open and that is what tends to happen with the Bosman ruling.
"If we get an offer which is the right deal for Preston North End, then Patrick might have to move on if we can't agree a contract with him.
"He is a London lad and that could influencehis thinking about what he intends to do next.
"Nowadays, players tend to work through their agents, they don't say a lot. Patrick doesn't say a lot. We'll have to see what happens."
Agyemang has started four of Alan Irvine's six games in charge, netting his fourth goal of the campaign in the 3-0 win against Hull earlier in the month.
He missed the derby victory over Burnley last Saturday after picking up a slight hamstring strain in training the day before.
And were the 27-year-old to be fit for this weekend's visit to Southampton, he might have to make do with a seat on the bench with Paul Gallagher and Neil Mellor likely to be the chosen pair up front again.
Irvine said: "I believe the chairman has already spoken to Patrick and his agent regarding a new contract.
"Whether Patrick has got ideas about moving out of the area is another matter."
Agyemang joined PNE just over three years ago from Gillingham in a £350,000 deal.
He's made more appearances as a substitute than actual starts in league action, 65 from the bench as opposed to being in the starting line-up 54 times, scoring 21 goals.

Nice rumour but TP's signings tend to be out of the blue somebody nobody knows about.

I'd really like this rumour to be true, would be a great asset to the clubs promotion hopes.
