Would like Smudge to explain his article in the Plymouth how to get there section in the awayguide with the statement "Okay its a bitch of a distance and youre probably wondering if its worth it the way we are playing at the moment" Is that having a go at the way we are playing or encouraging people to go cant quite tell meself?

It's must be a cut and paste from last season when we went there without a win in 7.

Perhaps it was Dave Frith or Mark Parton who wrote that paragraph? Thay are not paid up "rimmers" like Smudge.

Re:-I assure you he his no RIMMER after watching and hearing him at Scunthorpe the other week. That depends on your definition of a rimmer. A rimmer is someone who calls it as they see it imo. I've been critical of TP and the team on a couple of occasions this year but I'm equally happy to praise them when they do well.
I thought our match at Burnley was indescribabley bad and said so several times during and after the match! But I've always basically been pro-TP

I joined the 21st century and listen to the satnav. We thought of letting Zigger do the directions but it would have meant a 200 page Oatcake. Anyways....I thought my new avatar and Tony bumming piece in the last edition would have demonstrated my political swing towards the rimmer faction. ;D

Oh yes, the old satnav.
You've got the job for directions from Ninian Park and we'll get Fish to sort out getting out of London

I blamed it on the satnav too. The only other explanation could have shed doubt on the driver and we know that cannot be.

I assure you he his no RIMMER after watching and hearing him at Scunthorpe the other week. Fingers, You really need to qualify that mate - I was nothing but supportive on the night at Scunthorpe. For some bizarre reason someone did turn around and launch a tirade in my direction but I hadn't actually said a single thing up until that point. As I always do, I'll have the odd laugh and a joke when we're not playing well but I've petty much been onboard with TP all season!

Smudge i myself was involved with some muppets at Scunthorpe a bloke with glasses constantly shouting Pulis out then apologising at the final whistle for his tirade of abuse and also another bloke sat next or with you who exchanged and threatened Zigger,so maybe thats were the abuse came from in your direction.Maybe i got the wrong end of the stick then but to alot of stokies that i attend with the feeling is that many at the oatcake have not been as supportive of Pulis has they could have been.

Okay, you've got slightly the wrong end of the stick mate. The guy who came up to talk to me was merely expressing, in a non-aggressive way, his disappointment at the way we were playing. That then caused 'Z' to jump in from a few feet away and start attacking both myself and the other bloke. At this point I hadn't said even a single word in the conversation! The other guy never threatened 'Z' and just told him to mind his own business. That point REALLY does need to be made. Mind you, he's a poster on this site so he can tell you himself exactly what happened when he gets to see this! I did see lots of Stokies falling out with each other that night and commented what a sad sight it was to see at a match in the following issue of the fanzine. I sincerely believe that if you read the editorial content of the fanzine for the past year that you'll see that it has been broadly supportive of the manager, with the odd bout of mickey-taking. He does things which drive me mad at times but, overall, I don't think we could do better than TP as manager. As the season progresses he is proving even his fiercest critics wrong!

Fair enough Smudge but i know for a fact that isnt the way Zigger sees it but thats for them to sort out not me or you.Its also good to see what you have written about our beloved manager because i for one think he his doing a fine job.

Plymouth isn't too far, there's only 2 roundabouts between Etruria and Plymouth so it can't be that far ;D

Fingers, There is no other way to see it. Zigger butted in on a conversation that had nothing whatsoever to do with him and got told to mind his own business. Like I said, I hadn't said a single word up until that point and had actually been chatting to him in quite a friendly fashion during the first half.
