I think Pulis should push the boat out and try for Roberts, he is a Sidibe type lump - athletic, powerful etc but one that can also score goals - I think he would be happy of first team footy from what I have read.
Sidibe for all his efforts is just not the player Stoke need at this point, he is struggling to even win headers and teams don't double up on him most the time anymore as when he does win headers he knocks them randomly to no-one and we all know his scoring record is nothing short of dire.
Throw in a right full back, creative centre midfielder and a left winger and get Diao in the team and there is no excuse not to go for a sustained automatic promotion push...

Its fairly likely that the likes of Roberts have been enquired upon by Stoke but unlike previous times many many prem reserve players seem happy to stay on the bench or in the reserves rather than drop down a division - even to promotion chasers.
