Well I think apart from the occasional shot across the bows from the national press ANY publicity for this club at the moment IS A GOOD THING, unless it involves fans thuggery. Overall,...I think we are gradually losing this 'ugly image' though,as most of the mindless idiots simply can't afford to go anymore anyway. I think that this years challenge is our best shot at promotion but I honestly believe it is well within our grasp.Tony Pulis has made great strides in improving our overall image and our ideal geographical position should stand us in good shape when the next transfer window opens. We as supporters, should 'talk up' the clubs image more,.. instead of a doom and gloom approach that many on here seem to adopt. Heads should go up...not down.!! Promotion here we go...!

Bollocks! We've an uglier image than ever, don't you read the papers?
At least such extreme criticism is giving us a siege mentality, but everyone is starting to hate us!

Boother...Yes I do read the papers, I did refer to this specific point. It's more sour grapes and our desire to inflate the importance of such articles that really amuses me. It's a kind of negative recognition syndrome...notoriety breeds contempt mentality.
Bad publicity isn't necessarily a bad thing so long as it is reported far and wide and creates INTEREST...
