Quite often it seems that Pulis' signings come completely out of the blue, with no flagging up in the local or national media.
But have we been linked, however spuriously, with anyone apart from Quashie, Whelan, Routledge, Chaplow, Whaley and Davenport?

Still seems to be the same names that have done the rounds for the last few months.
Maybe we'll be surprised with something unexpected?

I'm pretty sure we'll see one of the above this month. Probably Quashie or Whelan followed by a forward.

hasn't there been mention of Mendes, Griffin, Earnshaw, Roberts as well. We are going to have one hell of a side when they all sign

I read that Blackburn have put a £4 million price tag on Roberts' head.....perhaps not then!
Sean Davis was also touted. I reckon Pulis is a big fan of Richard Hughes (Pompey). He rarely gets a game but every time he does play he seems to do well. Slightly defensive though for what we ideally would like

Another of our rumoured targets linked elsewhere today.
Whaley 'wanted by Palace'
Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock wants Preston winger Simon Whaley according to a national media report.
Warnock is willing to pay around £1/2million for the 22-year-old midfielder, and Palace chairman Simon Jordan is willing to finance the bid according to the Daily Mirror.
Whaley, who scored in North End's 2-1 defeat at home to Cardiff City before going off injured last Saturday, has been looked over several by Premier League club scouts.
Preston signed Whaley from Bury for £450,000 in January 2006.
