Please unite again the feel good factor the fans and club is currently on in doing FREE Coach Travel to plymouth saturday? why not?
Tony Pulis said again on national radio how we have got Barnsley away today then 3 days later we have plymouth away and how unfair it is for supporters to travel so far apart in the space of 72 hours, its ludicrous!
I will admit now that i couldn't afford the travel and ticket for plymouth game after done both today so could the club give the fans a real good gesture/gift of putting on so many coaches for the match?
Other clubs have done it why can't stoke city?
The following might hit 500tops if the club did not help out with the travel and the players might just need more than that to get them through another tough game.

FFS Dave! Could Tony Scholes ring Leons up and say do you have 15 to 20 coaches available for saturday morning? And strike a deal with them!
Im sure they won't have every single coach on other jobs this saturday do you?

then at least people like me and my dad who live in Telford about half an hour away can get back after going to london without stopping over without mutch cash and if were in a good position with them clubs in a good one would make for a good crowd and yeah i am going to plymouth ;d

If you want to pursue this further jarhead:
tony.scholes@stokecityfc.com
Though, I'm sceptical as to whether it would happen at any other time than possibly later in the season, when there is a potential........promotion party?!
Goarrrrn Stoke!

Cheers nath for that. Crazy the prices are even to just get there never mind to get in and any other add ons!!!
lordb, surely the club can make a 2 minute phone call then get it on our website the radio and newspaper that free travel for plymouth has been approved on ie 20 coaches?

Yes of course they can but PR wise they wouldnt get the best exposure this close to the game.
It would have been the prefect choice otherwise.
somewhere with a biggish away section would be good - Watford? Or as said the long distance midweek games @ Norwich or Charlton would be good.
The Brighton relegation party in '90 Coates/Stoke gave away thousands/hundreds/@ least 4 free plastic sunglasses so there is precedent for Coates giving away free stuff to the travelling masses!

Good idea but better still why not someone like The Sentinel or other local business share the cost with them. Positive PR is paramount and a joint deal with the club and The Sentinel would be a great idea, even better than the recent three voucher deal!

A good idea, KE.
Just to make sure there are no accusations of bias they could also offer to cover Port Vale's funeral expenses at the end of the season.
;D
