I would say anything suits us well as long as we don't get beat by Barnsley.

ideally, west brom vs bristol city will be a draw, and watford will lose, and the mighty potters will win, meaning we go top

Yep a draw is the best anyway you look at it. Two promotion contending teams dropping 2 points and us gaining 3 . . . that'll do nicely thank you very much!! ;D Feet on floor .. . feet on floor . . . just a quick reminder if we go top today! ;D

Yeah, whatever else happens a Stoke win always suits us best! Simple but true.

Today's results could be very interesting. Apart from the faint chance of us going top if results go our way for the teams above us, the teams below us right down to and including Wolves, all have tricky fixtures. www.sportinglife.com/football/live/tables/nationwide1.htmlAnother thing which could give our game and the Baggies/Bristol game a bit of extra interest is that we will know the Watford result before we kick off!

Ours is tricky too. Sodding Barnsley. Hope they have taken the right studs this time.

A draw would probably suit us best, but I wouldn't complain at a Bristol City win, partly because I was born in that part of the world - moved before I was 4, so didn't develop a serious scrumpy habit - and because of the arrogance of the Baggies.

As has been mentioned, the most important result is making sure that we come away from Yorkshire with something from the game. With Bristol and WBA, a draw would probably be best (especially if we win) - but if someone had to win that game, I'd personally go for the Baggies. I generally don't go in for keeping it 'nice and tight' within the pack; I'd feel better if 2 or 3 clubs (obviously us included!) can break away.

I have a theory on this kind of situation.
Until we reach the very end of the season and specific results have massive implications then I always want a game between two of our rivals to end in a draw. A drawn game only generates two points, whereas if someone wins then three points come out of the game.
Over the course of a season the more games that generate just two points instead of three leaves us with a better chance of doing better if we're picking up a lot of three-point hauls.
To put it simply; the game at Ashton Gate earlier in the season, between bristol City and West Brom, was a draw and if this game is also drawn then they've got two points each, for a total of four. Howeve, if both games were home wins they'd have three points each for a total of six!

On the points gained aspect I like being on an unbeaten run BUT if we lose one and win one of these away games we'll have one more point than if we'd drawn them both.
