Sorry about the delay in putting up this picture but I'm 99% certain this is Dramani (travelling with the team on Saturday against Bolton) Which one is he? ;D ;D

Whose heard much about it???

"Draman is set to secure a one-year loan move to Stoke City.
The deal, worth 3 million pounds, could be made permanent if Draman who plays for Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian League, impresses the club."
I am not sure whether the 2nd paragraph follows on from the first or not!

''The former Gencelbirgi of Turkey and Red Star Belgrade attacking midfielder impressed so much with his deft touches and surging runs that Stoke City found him hard to ignore.''
I like the sound of that!

Stoke chief Scholes: Forced delays over Dramani deal tribalfootball.com - August 21, 2008
Stoke City chief Tony Scholes says a loan deal is close to being finalised for Lokomotiv Moscow winger Haminu Dramani.
Scholes told Stoke's website: "Everything at our end has now been completed and we are just awaiting some signatures from the other parties involved.
Click here to find out more! "We are pressing and pressing, and hopefully very imminently we will be able to make an announcement.
"The work permit issue always takes a day or two, even if it is pretty straightforward which this one should be, it still takes time.
"We aren't signing a lad from Wolverhampton or Manchester here, we are taking a Ghanaian from a team in Moscow.
"There are African agents involved, Russian agents involved and we have got an English agent involved as well, so it isn't going to be easy.
"The thing is with these sort of deals, the more complex it is the longer it is going to take to get sorted.
"That doesn't mean that things aren't being done incorrectly, it just means things are a little bit harder to get completed.
"Even if we get it done today he won't be able to feature this weekend."

Stoke confirmed earlier this week that they had a agreed a season-long deal for the 22-year-old with a view to a permanent deal. A work permit was all Stoke appeared to be waiting for, but now Lokomotiv have said that they will not be letting Dramani leave until the end of November - when the Russian season ends. "Dramani remains with Lokomotiv until the end of the season," stated Lokomotiv president Nikolay Naumov. It now remains to be seen whether Stoke can push through a deal as the move would have to be put on hold until January if it could not be completed before the transfer window close on 1st September. seems a common theme with east european teams / agents, trying to bump money?

Sentinel says Faye is 'hanging in the balance'.
Maybe the Senegal team doctor has gone AWOL?
Why the hell we didn't get all this sorted last week, or at the latest, when Faye spend the early part of the week actually with the Senegal team, is anyone's guess.
Here we are scrambling about 24 hours from kick-off. Hopefully there've been developments overnight.

Why oh why are things never easy? Totally agree Grapey- Ab. Faye has been with us for a week now (minus about 10 hours). The paperwork should have been chased when they were staying in a Bolton hotel last Friday. Not during the middle of this week

Looks like the Ruskies are playing hardball. The Russian Bear is growling. Are they after more cash? Call me old-fashioned, but why didn't they make this clear before they sent him half-way across Europe for a trial?

This isn’t half bloody frustrating.
We saw on Saturday how badly we needed an experienced head at the back, I’ll be very disappointed if we don’t have Faye at the back tomorrow.

Perhaps we should jet out eastwards and buy them a couple of games, that might secure it! Allegedly, of course.

Stoke - We've agreed a deal Ruskies - No you haven't, he's going nowhere until January.
Not exactly a meeting of minds, is there?
I wonder what terms they allowed him to come to Stoke on?
He must have been told he was available.
They certainly do things a bit differently in Eastern Europe, don't they?
Sounds like the goalposts have been moved at the 11th hour to extract more cash from us, or the goalposts were never where we or Dramani thought they were.

Someone and I don't know who seriously needs there arse kicking if this is true. We really are going to end up in a mess if this carries on we've already taken way to long to complete transfers and seem to be going for targets who are either not match fit or need work permits. The biggest problem we have is that this is not a 46 match season where we have time to tinker its 38 and if we don't get points on the board after the first 4 games we're into Liverpool and Chelsea and we're staring down the barrell of a gun and in real trouble with no way of improving the team. Can't we just go for simple buys like we have done with Kitson and Davis. Surinum wouldn't be too difficult or Beattie and once they're paid for there ours. No messing about with the African Nations next year either. We've had months to sort incoming players out and I know lots of people critiscize Hull but credit where credits due they've got there targets and they're now a unit and focused. Whilst we're fannying around paying for reps to go to Valencia to chase Zigic who just isn't going to join us. I know it all sounds negative but I just want to see us have a real go this season and not embaress ourselves because it's going to be mighty difficult to get ourselves back where we belong from an increasingly strong Championship.

It's the price we have to pay for not having established network out in Europe, like most other PL teams and some in the Championship have.

i dont know what the crack is.
may be this shows stokes inexperience in dealing with the wider world now?
it must be a bit of a learning curve for the backroom staff too, other countries ways of dealing with transfers, work permits etc.

Seems to have happened a few times this summer with Eastern Eoropeans where clubs get close to doing a deal everything seems fine then all of a sudden the goalposts are changed at the last minute.

this is all starting to take the piss!!!! why the fuck cant they do it right first time? TP "pete, we need some signings" PC "ok, how much do you need" TP "about £30 million" PC "thats fine, go see tony scholes and he'll sort you out" TP "tone, peter's just sent me down. he says i can have 30 million" TS spits his tea out, "you can have 10 million and i'll get some loans in, there's some right bargains in russia and spain" TP "i'd like 30 million plus the loans" TS whilst hurriedly packing his suitcase "the algarve is quite nice this time of year and i've always fancied a trip to moscow. i'll see what i can do about players if i have time" i think mr scholes needs shooting in the face

sunshiner. suppose you mean that bloke spurs have bin trying sign for the last month? (arseshaver!) yeh agree.but it should learn us that its not as straight forward as we think. having said that, he'll proberly be standing in front of the boothen...........etc. its a bit similar to this zigic business.we have got to look at why it seems so hard to close deals,is it "us", is it "them"? but like i said, he will proberly sign today, and shock us! ;D
