I have just spoken to someone in the ticket office and he has confirmed that there are no tickets available at the ticket office and there will be no turnstyles open where you can pay on the gate.

If hundreds (possibly two thousand) Stokies turn up today expecting to be able to pay on the day I'd bet my left knacker that they'll get in. Barnsley won't say no to the money and the police won't allow hundreds of irate fans to be milling around outside.

See what you are saying Smudge, but if the info came from the club site, which seems to have been removed, what the hell is going on.Thought our ticket office would have been open today for a couple of hours

I can't imagine why the club would announce as pay on the day being available if they hadn't got it directly from someone at Barnsley? Perhaps it's the woman at Barnsley who's wrong?

Just to add to that Smudge he did say a couple of times that no tickets would be available on the day. This is deffo one of those days where with pay on the day turnstyles and no ID cards Stokies would be flocking to watch the mighty potters.
