They are entitled to £2 million or £3 million if we get promoted within two or three years. Not sure of the exact figures but it is one of those two options. And they are entitled to it because the contract they signed with Coates when they sold their shares to him says they are entitled to it.
As promotion is worth in the region of £50 million it is hardly going to leave us short of cash, is it?

They stopped the rot and bankrolled us back into the championship, they just entered into an ill thought out share holders agreement which stopped Stoke from progressing under their tenorship.Fortunately for us this time round Peter Coates has plenty of money which gives us the opportunity to get back into the top tier.

If they are entitled to anything, let me be the first to say, good luck to them, and thanks for what they did, when they did it. They saved us from being in deep shite when they took over. Granted they then ran out of ideas/money, and had to leave, but by then, we had a bit of time to sort out. Got no real complaints abouit their time at Stoke, they were just out of their financial depth, and things didn't work out.
