Although I buy some of the "playing out of position card", he seems to be short paced and quite frankly somewhat clue less. That doesn't really come with being out of position does it. Didn't do the job for Derby so why should he be any better here?

Shawcross needs a leader next to him at this stage of his career. Unfortunately, I can't see what the management see in Cort who is a mid table Championship player at best. Griffin isn't doing well but no-one could seriously say that the full backs cost us the game at Bolton.

Griffins injury towards the end of last season WAS the reason we got promoted! It really was the reason, had we played him through the last few games I seriously think we would still be in the championship. So how the hell is he now playing for us in the premier and knowing he was crap for Derby and on top of that he is our captain I will never know. I would seriously prefer a youth player to griffin I really would. Pulis play Griffin at OUR peril!
