What sell on fee did we have for him? Was it 25% or 15%? QPR are interested in him apparently.

Commons fee set Thursday Sep 29 2005 13:08 Nottingham Forest have been ordered to pay Stoke City an initial fee of £300,000 after signing young midfielder Kris Commons during the summer. Commons chose to move to the City Ground after his Stoke contract expired, but Forest still have to make a compensation payment as he is under 24.
Nottingham Forest have been ordered to pay Stoke City an initial fee of £300,000 after signing young midfielder Kris Commons during the summer. A Football League transfer tribunal set the fee at £300,000 with a further £200,000 dependent on appearances and Forest winning promotion, together with a 15 per cent sell on clause.
City director of football John Rudge said: "We think it was a fair hearing. The outcome is fair for both clubs.
"The money we receive up front will give us a chance to get a replacement."

Aparently Bolton are interested in him as well, though granted QPR will have a fair bit of cash to splash come January.
Thankfully if rumours of QPR being interested in Commons are true, it means they're not likely to be in danger of using it wisely by shelling out on players that aren't that great and helping to fund our promotion push!

I've been told 2.5 million for him and Nathan Tyson. From this Hungarian site I go on where they think every Hungarian is as good as Pele and take in the shite sprouted by West Brom fans! They have a good knowledge though about Hungarian players-they just over rate them a bit!

I'd like to see us sign him just so that we could make him clean boots for another 3 years.

Some dodgy revisionism at work on this thread. For all I despise the greedy little chubber and the way he strung us along, he is a talented flair player, and would walk into most sides in the Championship, surely?
