I for one do not want him back, and I feel quite strongly about it. A personality likes Hendrie's, by this I mean his arrogant and cocky nature, could quite easily disrupt the harmony of the team, which has been the basis for our success to date. Coupled with the fact that he as a player is vastly over rated.....there is no point in pursuing his signature.
Please Tone, steer well clear.

The only thing we will see is that you YET AGAIN are talking utter crap on a football message board, tell me how many times did you post on the oatcake that Diao would be signing tomorrow,

there is no mileage in the Routledge story but Whelan and Hendrie are the 'exciting' players

Would take him back i suppose, just to give Cressy a run upfront. As much as i love Mama his goal scoring record is shite!

Ok I have said before on a previous thread about this, Pulis would have him back tomorrow of that there is no doubt. Gary Speeds arrival at the Blades won't come cheap and he is a midfielder so that could possibly need the blades to free up at least some resource. So it could be possible. Just would he be worth the amount of money that he would demand for the amount of times he plays.

1972scfc,
'Settling' for Hendrie is not what we should be doing, particularly given the wages he will demand. We don't need his type - both as a person and a player. Whelan and AN Other with pace is what we should be looking at in my opinion......Wes Hoolahan maybe worth a punt....certainly before Hendrie anyway.

i too believe pulis would welcome him back with open arms. but he's a ryte cocky little nobhead. remember " your not fit to wash his car!" that was funny but atm not what we need. Lawrence seems to be a bit of a playboy anyway.

Lawro has bedded in nicely with the rest of 'em and shares the same work ethic as the rest of the squad. Hendrie, on the other hand, struts around thinking he's the business, highlighted by that ridiculous 'wash my Ferrari' comment directed to Izzet.
Grow up, Hendrie.

I would much prefer us to try and nick Parry from Cardiff. He may cost more in transfer but possibly less in wages?

Sidders I'd go along with that. Certainly worth a look by the sounds of things....and lets face it, he ticks one box immediately....he is not Lee Hendrie!

Another point to mention is that he decided that he rejected us in the Summer. I know his motives were the security of a longer deal......but there would still be a sense of satisfaction in telling him to get lost if he feels there is an opportunity to jump ship after things going horribly wrong at Sheff Utd.
There is better out there.

After reading through the Sunday Papers I got an inkling that Zamora will be one he is after!! After reading some posts on here I am not the only one....surely Hendrie would be worse than Diao as he has only just this last few weeks returned from injury! Thanks for what you did Mr Hendrie but NO THANKS!
