Who do you believe is the better player?.
Got to be Beagrie for me because he simply took everyone on and 99.9% of the time did the buisness.
Beagrie was simply the most entertaining player that i have ever seen in a Stoke shirt and that comes from someone who firmly believes that Fuller will end up becoming a true Stoke legend.

Different types of player though.
Sadly Beagries stay was too short as he sought the riches of the premier league.
If Fuller helps Stoke in to the Premier then with his loyalty, every day will see him grow in legend status

I would say that although they played in different positions they were pretty much the same type of player in the sense of head down and skin all that are put in front of them.
Just has to be Beagrie i feel.

Difficult to compare the two because one is an out&out goalscorer and the other an 'old fashioned' type of winger.
Beagrie's goal celebrations were better though!!

Beagrie had more tricks up his sleeve but wasn't as prolific in front of goal but then he was a winger .Very similar in that they were/are both very greedy players what some pundits/managers would describe as luxury players. For me Neil Adams who took Beagries place when he left was a far more effective player for the team even if he was less skilfull than either of the aforementioned. Funnily enough both Beagrie and Adams became better players when they left Stoke whilst Fuller appears to have found his home here.

Beagrie or Chamberlain would be a fairer comparison cos both were similar palyers and both were quite exceptional (as is Fuller)
Fuller could become a legend to rival Denis Smith Jimmy Greenhoff Steino and Hudson IF he carries on!
And on the Chambo Beagrie debate I'd call it a dead heat! Either one of them in our current team would absolutely guarantee promotion imo

For all the skill and exciting moments Beagrie wasn't as much of a team player as he could have been. Particularly at the start of 89/90 he'd go and try to beat a man again when it was easier to lay the ball off to a colleague.
