Hello all,
been a bit of a lurker for a while but decided to sign up at long last now we are on a decent message board! Controversial!
Did anyone hear pulis on talksport alan brazil show this morning?
Pulis made a very good point of derby games should be played on boxing day and new yer i.e west brom, wolves etc rather then Plymouth etc! He was going mad about it!
Also Pulis when asked said he was happy to play on xmas day and wouldnt be suprised if it ends up like that soon!
Surely there wouldnt be much of a crowd for that would there?

they used to play xmas day back in black & white days.

back in the old days , they used to play on xmas day AND boxing day last time we played on xmas day (after a quick check on soccerbase) was 1954 www.soccerbase.comand in the thirties it would be a double header , home and away v same team on xmas day and boxing day ... eg English Division 1 (old) Stoke 2-1 Leicester 25-12-1933 English Division 1 (old) Leicester 3-1 Stoke 26-12-1933 |
