Assuming we are bringing in some quality in January (not JOC please) where are we going to play these new players?
It all looked so simple a month ago. Delap and Eustace would be dumped but suddenly they are looking the part?
Presumably Diao will take Delap's place with Rory moving to right back or the bench? Tough on Eustace to take him out just at the minute
I would add a young quick winger to the squad to come on as a sub as we did last season with Lee Martin. Is Martin injured? Not playing for Plymouth at the mo? This would also free Cresswell to cover as a striker

For a wisemaster, you're really not all that wise are you, what with so many questions, and so few answers.................? Seriously, a nice problem to have and I doubt if you'll ever hear a fan or manager up and down the land complaining about having too many quality players. We've already got a 'young quick winger' in Phillips, so I don't think the messiah's going to look hard in that direction. Although results obviously couldn't get much better now, we're going to need all the quality players we can get our hands on for the next 23 league and 7 cup games remaining this season!

TWM , I would assume what we need is to add some depth to the squad , which is frankly paper thin, if this means we have to bring in better players in some areas and the current players become squad players , then thats the way it has to be . Agree about the midfield, Eustace is back to how he was, but with that loss of pace (and even that is coming back slowly I think) , and well Rory is getting better, but can we afford to loose such a potent weapon as his long throw ?
Its a tough decision for TP, but hopefully he won't fuck about , just get them in and get us charging on

yoy
Pulis obviously doesn't think Phillips can do the job or we would see more of him - but he is certainly an option
Delap has played at right back so maybe that is where he will end up
Looks like Wright can go back to Sunderland at the break

If we are to keep all our players I would be satisfied with only one signing in the window. I hope we can sign another midfielder and wouldn't mind the Routledge rumours to be true! ;D

Dave - a point about Rory's throw is that we've only scored once from it. Having said that I'm not taking into consideration corners earned as a result on the throw, so, it could have had an influence of more goals.......

They sit on the bench until results go wrong, then bring them in.

another cm because i still dont think delap is up to it, yes hes been playing well the past couple of games but i dont like him so put him on the bench lol.
pulis may go in for another winger incase of injuries to lawrence on the right and demar.
then id just simply go mad and buy another forward juts for the fun of it

An experienced defender who can take control of the defense would be useful, apart from that a winger and a cm and were fine upfront, unless coates is feeling generous with the money.
