So we hit the halfway point now, What do you think of the first half of this season so far?
Weve had ups and downs and I think we are currently rocketing up, We have atlast got a good team togeather and pulis seems to be working very well learnt from his mistakes and I feel in the next half to come that we are going to shine as the best team this season!

To be in the position we're in now is fantastic and I don't think anyone would argue otherwise. We're starting to play some good stuff and are becoming difficult to break down again after our little stutter a couple of months ago. But things can change very quickly, and I'm sure we'll have another dodgy patch at some point (we always seem to have a New Year's hangover at Stoke for some reason!) so that will be the real test. If we don't drop too many points and that spell doesn't go on for too long (4 games max.) then I honestly believe we won't be too far away at all. The transfer window will have its part to play so it's probably fairer to assess our chances at the end of January - but with all this optimism floating around right now, I'd say auto promotion here we come

I'm delighted at how it has gone considering we couldn't seem to get players in when we wanted them. But patience has told in the end.
We have 40 points after 23 games but another 40 won't be enough for automatic promotion. We need to make a few choice signings next month and really go for it - 85 or 86 points could be enough for an automatic spot.
