Never thought I would say this but credit where credit is due - I thought he was superb today.

I'll second that, but having said that the whole team were outstanding today.

I'll third it, I've had a go at him several times lately but he did really well today.

I was astounded to hear myself say "well done Delap" twice today

i actually think his form is getting better and better he made some brilliant defensive tackles and covering runs. Perhaps we are seeing the former premiership player finally discovering some of his form from 3-4 years ago. If so Eustace, Delap, Daio, Matteo + another center midfielder will give us some cover if we get injuries + bans. Breaking your leg in 2 places + missing nearly a year worth of football must take its toll. Well done delap and the rest of the boys

He was good today for a change. Apart from Fuller's wondergoal, highlight of the game was that volley. Brilliant.

Maybe the Diao signing, as kicked him up the arse, and knows he has to perform now, as he will be dropped.

I hope it wasn't me, Smudge. It was only today that I realised it was possible to smite someone. I wondered how it worked! Mark told me about it. I shall now have fun on an hourly basis. Getting back to the original point of this thread, I thought today was easily Delap's best game for us. Our victory was due in no small way to his sterling efforts. M.

He was my personal MoM for the Watford game as well.
Rory has got his limitations, but agree he's been steadily improving, but after a broken leg, maybe you don't recover your top form straight away!!
Makes me wonder now just where Salif WILL now play when fit, because Delap's place doesn't seem to be automatically up for grabs any more.
