Amazed that those with blinkers could point an accusing finger in the direction of Hoefkens on Saturday. He wasn't the defender that Fuller escaped at the back post on Saturday (he was marking Delap in the middle of the area) nor was he the player that got skinned for Fuller's hattrick goal (He was tracking back after another of their lovely passing moves had come to nothing).
Hoefkens was a good player for us, and I for one wish we still had him. I like Wilko, but Hoefkens was a good player, very good in fact, and you can never have too many good players.
He also looked a little uncomfortable playing against us (in a not dissimilar way to Steino all those years ago) but I thought that he had a decent game. His direct opponent, Cresswell, was probably the least effective player on the pitch so he must have done his job to some extent.
As for Tazi's comment...prepare to be disappointed!
We were great on Saturday and are on a really good run. Our players look full of confidence so why can't we just enjoy it...rimmers and haters alike!

What DaveJohnno said.
Good player for us, and a good guy.
He was made to feel pretty unwelcome, and took the opportunity to earn 250% of his Stoke salary, when confronted with less than a year on his Stoke contract.
