i wouldn't go any where near you brakes with oil , as the disc brakes on mountains bikes are minature versions of those on motorbikes i can only assume that you need it for the pistons which can stick if they clog up with brake dust, on motorbikes we use copper grease

Its for hydraulic disc brakes.
The Mineral oil creates the pressure in the brake cables or something like that??? (I dunno really)
Tried Halfords and they don't have it!

errrrm.............don't know the answer to that, it just says I should use a standard non-corrosive mineral oil???

sorry m8 these are motor factors in fenton that might sell the oil your after being as though halfords don't

you mean brake fluid ? .... that'll be brake labelled as brake fluid DOT 4 or DOT 5
